Radiotherapy is one of the main treatment modalities used for a wide range of cancer malignancies. However, radiotherapy machines are currently optimized to treat single tumors; they are not routinely used to treat patients with metastatic disease. To address this challenge, RefleXion has developed a highly innovative radiotherapy device that uses PET tracers to turn tumors into their own fiducials and thereby guide precise delivery of radiotherapy to multiple tumors in parallel (Biology-guided Radiotherapy, or BgRT).  This novel technology has the potential to radically transform cancer care for patients with late-stage disease by offering them hope for treatment with curative intent.
