David Stonko is a Clinical Associate at Catalio Capital Management, LP.
He is also a senior surgical resident physician at Johns Hopkins Hospital and is a postdoctoral fellow at the Shock Trauma Hemorrhage and Resuscitation Lab. His research interest is in hemorrhage control and vascular surgery with mostly large animals, and a focus on medical device design and validation. His clinical research interest is in using big data, machine learning and artificial intelligence, and outcome science to improve the care of surgical patients. He has published over 50 research articles and presented at numerous national and international conferences.
David earned his BSc. degree in Mathematics and Biological Sciences and his MSc. Degree in Applied Mathematics from University of Maryland, Baltimore Country (UMBC) and his M.D. from Vanderbilt University School of Medicine.
